The service provides inpatient, outpatient and urgent access clinics.<\/p>\n<h2>Inpatients<\/h2>\n<p>Our gynaecology wards care for women who need to stay in hospital following surgical treatment or as an emergency admission.<\/p>\n<h2>Outpatients<\/h2>\n<p>Birmingham Women\u2019s Hospital offers a wide range of general and specialist Gynaecology clinics including;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ambulatory Gynaecology<\/li>\n<li>Urogynaecology and Uro-dynamics<\/li>\n<li>Reproductive Medicine<\/li>\n<li>Recurrent Miscarriage<\/li>\n<li>Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU) and Acute Gynaecology<\/li>\n<li>Gynae-Oncology (urgent access clinics and follow up)<\/li>\n<li>Multi-disciplinary Pelvic Pain<\/li>\n<li>Specialist endometriosis clinics<\/li>\n<li>Menopause<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Urgent Access clinics are available in the Acute Gynaecology clinic and Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit on Ward 6.<\/p>\n<p>Clinics\u00a0are located on the ground floor in the Gynaecology Outpatients Department or in Ward 2 on the 1<sup>st<\/sup> floor.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"320\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4XNTq2qpCVU\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Survival rates for ovarian cancer improved in the 1970s when BWH oncology specialists helped develop surgery for this life-threatening condition.
