We also work very closely with the Bereavement Department to provide annual baby memorial services where parents and families can remember their babies in a formal service of remembrance.<\/p>\n<p>The Chaplaincy service offers care and support to people of all religious beliefs and those of no particular belief at all\u2026<\/p>\n<p>At the Birmingham Women\u2019s Hospital we offer a very diverse and comprehensive service. We have a team of paid and volunteer chaplains and visitors who are trained and experienced in pastoral, spiritual, religous care and counsel.<\/p>\n<h2>Currently the team comprises of:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A Church of England Chaplain \u2013 Revd Denise Jones<\/li>\n<li>Roman Catholic Chaplain \u2013 Sister\u00a0Maryann \u00a0Nwaiwu<\/li>\n<li>A team of Roman Catholic Chaplains \u2013 supported by Father Jeremy Howard<\/li>\n<li>A Muslim female chaplain \u2013 Rehanah Sadiq<\/li>\n<li>Assistant Muslim chaplain &#8211; Mobeen \u00a0Shairbano<\/li>\n<li>A male Muslim Chaplain \u2013 AKM Karazzaman<\/li>\n<li>An Honorary Sikh Chaplain Parkash Sohal<\/li>\n<li>A Jewish Bank Chaplain -Margaret Jacoby.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We also have an excellent team of volunteer visitors.<\/p>\n<p>If you would like support prayers or just a listening ear please do not hesitate to contact the chaplaincy office.<\/p>\n<p>With every blessing to you all.<\/p>\n<p>Revd Denise Jones<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Spiritual and religious care is an integral part of any community ; chaplains are available at the Women\u2019s Hospital to support people through times of distress, anguish, stress , illness and bereavement.
