With clinical pharmacy staff working alongside Boots UK, our Pharmacy team is unique. Together we provide a better pharmacy service where your medicines matter
What This Service Does
The pharmacy service leads on safety and best use of medicines- supporting efficient supply and prompt turnaround of your prescription. The pharmacy can be found along the main corridor next to the neonatal unit. There is good signposting within the hospital itself. The onsite pharmacy also includes a small retail area where mother and baby items and over the counter medicines can be purchased.
If you have a Boots Advantage card collect points as you would in any other Boots store.
If you are a clinic patient with a prescription the average waiting time is only 10 minutes. Please note that this Boots pharmacy cannot dispense any GP (green FP10) prescription forms you may have as it does not have the licence to do so.
You can also get advice on your medicines as there is a fully trained pharmacist always on duty and this includes the store manager.
