BWH recently had a visit by Healthwatch Birmingham as part of their Enter and View programme. Through this representatives from Healthwatch Birmingham observe service delivery and talk to service users, their families and carers.
Their concluding comments about us said: “BWH is well managed … we observed the staff team members being very supportive towards patients and being on hand if women required assistance and/or information”.
Having spoken to our patients and relatives during their visit, they were told that “it was apparent that service user felt they are treated with care, dignity and respect and majority knew how to complaint. In particular, some service users spoke very highly of the staff and would recommend the service to friends and family”.
