Welcome to the Library and Knowledge Service at Birmingham Women’s NHS Foundation Trust. The library service is available to all Trust staff and students on placement. The service is staffed by Ann Daly, Derick Yates and Sandra Harrison from 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday and out of hours access is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with your Trust ID. We provide a range of traditional library services including print and electronic textbooks and journals, literature searching, document supply and information skills training. The service supports Trust staff to improve patient and population health through evidence-based practice with library staff contributing to clinical and corporate research, education and lifelong learning.

There are also links to BASEDoc, the online document supply service, and forms to request a literature search.
