We welcome and encourage visitors.
Visitor numbers
We may limit the number of visitors allowed per patient at any one time. This is to make sure that our patients get the rest they need and other patients are not disturbed. However, if there is an infection on the ward, we may restrict this to one visitor per patient.
Infection control
We are very proud or our consistently low infection rates and we need your help to keep it this way.
Please note that visitors with colds, coughs, diarrhoea, vomiting (D&V) or other infectious diseases should not visit until they are well.
Visitors should always clean their hands using the hand dispensers before coming onto the ward.
- Washing your hands or using alcohol hand gel on entering and before leaving wards and departments
- Helping us to keep our hospital clean and tidy
- Letting us know if you have any questions or concerns regarding infection prevention and control or standards of cleanliness
