We appreciate that some patients need assistance with travel costs to and from appointments. If you are not sure whether you are entitled to a benefit, or need help and advice you can find some useful advice here.
There is also a national scheme which can financially help with a range of other health related costs such as prescriptions:

Cash Office
Travel Expenses can be claimed by those on Income Support, Family Credit or Low Income (Certificate claimed through D.H.S.S)
Lost property is stored in the cash office
Opening times:
Monday: 10.00 am – 12.00 pm and 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm
Tuesday: 10.30 am – 12.00 pm and 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm
Wednesday: 11.00 am – 12.00 pm and 2.30 pm – 4.00 pm
Thursday: 9.30 am – 12.00 pm and 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm
Friday: 10.00 am – 12.00 pm and 2.30 pm – 4.00 pm
